Summary
Superintendent oversees the daily construction activities at a work site related to scope of work.  Responsible for the overall progress of the project as well as the scheduling of workers and the delivery of equipment and materials. Works with contractors to complete project within the given budget and time frame. Coordinates with Project Managers and upper management to process any necessary order changes. Superintendent executes the day-to-day decisions on the work site in conjunction with upper management.

Essential Functions

  • Schedule Material deliveries to job sites
  • Sign materials in and out of warehouse at time of delivery
  • Schedule and Manage job site manpower
  • Set expectations of productivity daily
  • Delineate scope of work to Alpha field team (foreman and installers)
  • Inspect quality of work and set expectations for quality of work installed daily
  • Attend job hand off meeting coordinated by Operations Manager with Estimating Team.
  • Review Safety Procedures and follow through.
  • Daily Job hazard analysis JHA’s (Job Foreman) Super verifies this is being done daily
  • Inspect project prior to scheduling crews to verify project scope is ready for production.
  • Train all foremen for proper installation for each manufactures product prior to starting project, also train them to inspect for quality control.
  • Daily job site visits and attend weekly job site meetings (visits require communication with our customer before you leave job site). Utilize daily logs for documentation of site visits and any issues encountered.
  • Keep all records up to date on our electronic job files emails
  • Keep up with weekly manpower schedules.
  • Complete employee time cards and submit to Operations Manager/General Super as required weekly.
  • Utilize approved submittals, Spec-Data sheets, etc. to educate yourself about the materials that we are installing.
  • Coordinate housing as needed for our crews.
  • Communicate with office operation managers / General Super daily
  • Assist Operations Manager/General Super with monthly billing projections and AIA billings.
  • Submit T&M work orders/pending change orders in a timely manner for manual billing in the month the work is performed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university: or 5+ years related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance, must have a good driving record.

Summary

The Construction Laborer is responsible for cleaning and preparing construction sites for the erection of structures and buildings. Unloads and loads materials, reads plans and specifications, tends machines, mixes concrete, pours concrete, and assists carpenters, operating engineers, and other construction site workers.

Construction Purchasing Analyst – Marietta, GA

SUMMARY
Analyst will assist in the profitably & cost effectiveness of construction projects as it relates to purchasing. Analyst will interact with branch personnel and suppliers to process material requisitions. Analyst will submit in a timely manner, complete and accurate Purchase Orders, track delivery status, follow-up as needed, and ensure full and complete delivery of material to specified locations. Analyst will develop strategic relationships with external suppliers and internal business leaders, drive cost savings initiatives, and implement procurement best practices.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Work with operations and production managers to coordinate processing of multiple material requisitions
• Create and submit accurate and complete purchase orders and work with vendors to maximize cost savings

Waterproofer – Lewisville, TX

Summary

The Waterproofing Technician installs caulking in expansion, contraction, and control joints in interior and exterior masonry, door frames to masonry, windows to masonry, louvers to masonry, coping joints, concrete paving joints, saw cuts, and EIFS joints utilizing silicone, urethane, and acrylic based sealants.

 

Essential Functions
– Installs caulk into joints using a bulk caulk gun, pulling product out of buckets, using ‘sausage’ tubes, or standard tubes.
– Inspect joints to make sure they are sound, that all joint filler material has been removed, and that joint size is acceptable.
– Joints requiring it will be packed with backer rod to ensure proper joint depth, eliminate three side adhesion, and provide a sound backing to tool against.
– If required, joint primer is applied using a spatula type knife of proper size, smoothing sealant to match masonry mortar joints.
– When using self-leveling products, use compatible material to ‘dam’ ends, penetrations, and holes, so that the material remains in the joint.
– Mix material when required utilizing a drill and mixing paddle. Mix according to manufacturer’s directions.
– Access to joints may require use of boom lifts, scissor lifts, swing stage, scaffolds, ladders, boswain’s chair (sky genie), or bucket trucks to reach great heights inside and outside of buildings under construction.
– Clean tools using toluene or xylene type products. Specific care and precautions are to be taken when working with these solvent type materials.

The Waterproofing Technician installs caulking in expansion, contraction, and control joints in interior and exterior masonry, door frames to masonry, windows to masonry, louvers to masonry, coping joints, concrete paving joints, saw cuts, and EIFS joints utilizing silicone, urethane, and acrylic based sealants.

 

Essential Functions
– Installs caulk into joints using a bulk caulk gun, pulling product out of buckets, using ‘sausage’ tubes, or standard tubes.
– Inspect joints to make sure they are sound, that all joint filler material has been removed, and that joint size is acceptable.
– Joints requiring it will be packed with backer rod to ensure proper joint depth, eliminate three side adhesion, and provide a sound backing to tool against.
– If required, joint primer is applied using a spatula type knife of proper size, smoothing sealant to match masonry mortar joints.
– When using self-leveling products, use compatible material to ‘dam’ ends, penetrations, and holes, so that the material remains in the joint.
– Mix material when required utilizing a drill and mixing paddle. Mix according to manufacturer’s directions.
– Access to joints may require use of boom lifts, scissor lifts, swing stage, scaffolds, ladders, boswain’s chair (sky genie), or bucket trucks to reach great heights inside and outside of buildings under construction.
– Clean tools using toluene or xylene type products. Specific care and precautions are to be taken when working with these solvent type materials.

 

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

 

Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to read and use a tape measure, ability to read measurements off of a blue print.

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must have form of dependable transportation; must be able to travel out of town, both on overnight and one day trips.

 

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee frequently is required to climb or balance and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. Estimating Intern – Marietta, GA

Summary

The primary role of the Estimator Intern is to assist with accurately forecast the cost, size and duration of a project. The Estimator Intern helps to develop the cost information that the executive team, Operations Managers, and the Estimator need to make informed decisions on the viability of a proposed new project. The Estimator Intern assists with providing market competitive estimates that align with organizational goals and objectives.

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

– Assist with estimating project costs and maintain estimating database

– Perform a quantitative analysis of scopes

– Learn installation techniques, waterproofing, firestopping, and insulation systems

– Work with mentor to red, review, and interpret blueprint drawings

– Gain an understanding of cost v revenue, basic job accounting techniques, and managing clients

– Manage project document flow

– Assist the Sales and Project Managers with various administrative duties
